About me...

I'm fascinated by people and find it meaningful making a connection with my clients and being part of their journey in life. I am passionate about development and will support and encourage you to grow and develop in ways you maybe hadn't thought possible.

I am an experienced psychotherapist with an established private practice. I work with people over the longer term, in depth psychotherapy, or shorter term counselling depending on what you need. I see clients from a range of sources e.g. you may be offered counselling through your employer, an insurance company or law firm.

I work as a counsellor at a university, supporting students who may be feeling anxious, depressed, struggling with family relationships, or just dealing with the particular difficulties that present at this stage of life. I find supporting young people and helping them develop and grow particularly engaging and meaningful. I am registered with BUPA on their Mental Health & Wellbeing Network, read more here. I also have recognition with Aviva, Axa Health and Vitality Health. Please see the links for each company on the Useful Links page

I work as Family Therapist for the Family Counselling Trust (FCT) in Hampshire https://familycounsellingtrust.org/ and sit on the FCT Referral Panel for Hampshire. I’m also a member of “StepIn ASAP”, we all work with stepfamily members. For more information please click here

I am on the organising committee of the Hampshire Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (HACP) www.hacp.co.uk and have joint responsibility for developing the programme of monthly evening talks. Finally, I also work as a Coach, please see the Services tab for more details.

I have previously worked as a counsellor at a MIND organisation, as a bereavement counsellor at a hospice and at the Arbours Crisis Centre in North London. Earlier in my career I worked for many years in a FTSE-100 retailer within HR in generalist and specialist roles and my unique blend of skills, experience and training combine to provide a professional and warm service to my clients.

I am an accredited member of the UKCP, a member of the BACP and on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have a diploma in Family Therapy and am also a chartered member of the CIPD. I completed my training at the School of Psychotherapy & Counselling Psychology at Regent's University.
